Kamiki Ryuunosuke to star in new NHK drama series "Yake ni ben no tatsu bengoshi ga gakkou de hoeru"

Kamiki Ryuunosuke will be starring in the new NHK drama series "Yake ni ben no tatsu bengoshi ga gakkou de hoeru" which will begin its run from 21 April in the Saturdays 8.15pm timeslot. The drama is based on the theme of the school lawyer scheme where a newbie lawyer deals with the problems in Aoba Daiichi Chuugakkou (Aoba First Junior High) such as bullying, corporal punishment, monster parents and excessively tough working conditions of teachers through his legal knowledge and becomes an even better person through his interaction with the teachers and students.


Kamiki plays the newbie lawyer Taguchi Shotaro which is his first lawyer role to date. He commented that when he was a student, he didn't know much about the issues in school but when he became an adult, he became aware of the tough conditions facing those in the educational scene. As it will be a new approach to deal with these issues from a legal perspective, he pledged to work hard for this drama in order to convey the true situation in schools and that the viewers would enjoy watching this. Minami Kaho will play Takagi who is the boss of the law firm which Taguchi belongs to while Kosakai Kazuki will play Kuramori, the principal of the school. Tanabe Seiichi plays the curriculum coordinator Miura who objects to Taguchi's way of doing things and is popular with the students and parents. Last but not least, Kishii Yukino will play Mochizuki, the form teacher of a class where a female student lodges a protest over being subjected to physical punishment.
